On Thursday, May 9, 2024, the Archbishop of Milan, Monsignor Mario Delpini, will hold the First Public Session of the Testimonial Phase for the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of Fr. Luigi Giussani.
Once the Testimonial Phase is over, the documentation collected will be sent to the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints in the Vatican. This will be followed by the other stages provided for by the norms, up to the Holy Father's eventual decision whether to declare Servant of God Fr. Giussani as Venerable.
