The Audience: The Pope's letter

In St. Peter's Square on October 15, Davide Prosperi delivered a letter of thanks to Francis. Here is the Holy Father's response

Dear Brother,
I would like to express my thanks for the letter dated October 15, which you sent to me on behalf of the movement of Communion and Liberation.

I greatly appreciated the expressions of your affection and spiritual closeness. I am grateful for your generous gesture of charity on behalf of the poor; thank you for extending your hand to those in need.

I carry last Saturday’s meeting vividly in my memory and heart. I thank you for your witness and your liveliness. Always be joyful and creative. May God’s grace sustain and strengthen you.

Please continue to pray for me; I will do so for you.

May the Lord bless you and may the Blessed Virgin watch over you.
