Saturday we went to San Clemente to participate to an event of charity called Feed the Needy. I want to thank Joe so much for inviting us and to share with you what happened.

First the coordinator explained the activities going on at their center, not just listing, but telling us all about the beautiful things happening with people and families, people they've helped and still are helping. Then we started to work, packing the food in boxes and then people came to pick up the food, which we were passing it out to them.

The two things I liked most were that Viola and Davide didn't want to take a break during the day, they were very pleased to be there and have the possibility to be working with people in need. Also, I loved being there with my family: Serena, Daniele, Stephanie and Joe. I realized we were there because "I'm the first to be in need: we are in need, each of us".

It was certainly a day of "rendering visible the signs of the presence and closeness of God".#CharitableWork
