Upon learning of the news of the surgery Pope Francis will undergo today at Gemelli Hospital, Davide Prosperi, President of the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation, said:

“The entire movement of Communion and Liberation is close with great affection to Pope Francis and joins in prayers for His health and for a good outcome of the surgery. With the heartfelt wish that He may soon recover and return to witness His paternal guidance to us in the journey of faith of the whole Church.”
