This morning I was able to view a little bit of the live streaming of the March for Life in Washington, DC. Vice President Mike Pence and New York Archbishop, Timothy Cardinal Dolan took the stage at different times to show their support. I have long considered myself part of the Pro-Life Movement. I started attending the annual march as a teenager, in college I was the president of the Hofstra Pro-Life Club, I have taken part in Operation Rescue, prayed the rosary outside of abortion clinics, and have done volunteer work for the Sisters of Life. So today, seeing the cheering crowds as the Vice President of the United States of America showed his unequivocal support, you’d think would have made jump for joy. Instead, I felt very sad. Our newly elected president, Donald Trump, is building a wall to keep our neighbors out. He is building a wall that will separate families. He is forcing America to be great again, by getting rid of those whom he thinks make America less. To me, that’s the abortion mentality.
