"Abandon Yourself to My Presence"

"This is the question that remains open in our life: What corresponds to us? Because this is how God justifies Himself before us: Look at what corresponds to you: the resort, your interests, your projects—or to abandon yourself to My Presence.”

It was clear that there was something new for me in the proposal that Fr. Carrón at the end of his May School of Community: "This is the question that remains open in our life: What corresponds to us? Because this is how God justifies Himself before us: Look at what corresponds to you: the resort, your interests, your projects—or to abandon yourself to My Presence.” I could agree with it and to say, "yes, of course, this is the point..." His mercy did not leave me with his words, but during the entire vacation He offered me witnesses of the "more" that happens in life when you "abandon yourself to My presence". It was easy to see it in the simplicity and beauty of each gesture. Being open and attentive in looking for Him allowed me to see and to be surprise of His love for me.

I was surprise by His tenderness when a 6 years old look at me an ask, "Would you like to have dinner with me this evening?" Not a something to do, but Someone to say, "Yes, O Lord, I love You!"
