More than 200 people, including members of Communion and Liberation from different parts of the Island, and people of the community of Peñuelas, assisted to the Vía Crucis, as we call it in Spanish. It started at 9:00 am and Daniel Aguilar gave the meditations. Mrs. Silvia, a member of our community, whose husband had recently died of brain cancer, shared with us her beautiful and humble testimony by just attending and being with us. She was kind enough to describe her experience of that day:

"This year, the Good Friday's Stations of the Cross at Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, were very meaningful. I had no intentions of going because I was sad and had no transportation. Josefran offered me a ride. He came from Cayey, about an hour's drive, then about two more hours of driving to Peñuelas. It was Christ's offering through Josefran. CL teaches the importance to say "yes" to Him.

My husband, Miguel, was diagnosed with brain cancer on December 10, 2015. He was on Homecare, he passed-away on March 10, 2016. It's been a sad and painful journey for our children, Aida and Miguel, our friends, and of course myself.

I was astonished when I heard Daniel read the meditations of the Stations of the Cross! They were for everyone who said "yes" by attending. The first was about disorder, which is where I am now. We were reminded that there's no meaningful order without Jesus Christ. Also, that Jesus calls us friend.

The CL community has been and is with us through this sad journey. I'm certain that Miguel was glad I was there; he knows we're not alone. God's presence is with us through the companionship, fellowship and friendship: CL.
