Yesterday Mary, Ellyonore and myself went to meet Claire for the first time. It was one of those beautiful fall days in Southern California California; we met at Almansor Park in Alhambra.
Claire just moved from Taiwan, together with her husband and three children. They have been thinking of moving to the U.S. for a while and finally the opportunity came.

While in Taiwan, Claire met Ilaria, an young Italian mom, living there because of her husband's work. As Claire was telling us yesterday, the two became great friends helping each other to be as good as possible stay-at-home-moms. Their friendship blossomed among pots and pans, learning how to make pizza, pasta and baking cakes! Now Claire is preparing gourmet meals for her children's sack lunches.
Ilaria didn't want her friend to walk alone, so she turned the world upside down until she found us. A new friendship has now begun; we are so grateful!
