The book takes the title – “What saves us from nothingness?”, which was for foreseen as the title of this year’s Fraternity Exercises – as its starting point, confronting it with the questions and dramas of human life that have emerged even more urgently during the pandemic. The text, as Carrón writes in the introduction, "aims to delineate an itinerary rooted in an experience and a history, and thus offers a contribution to the search and expectancy of everyone.”
