Most Reverend Eminence,

together with friends from Communion and Liberation, I entrust all your apprehension about the task that the Holy Father has entrusted to you to Our Lady of St. Luke, for the benefit of the holy people of God living in Italy and of all our brothers and sisters who are waiting–even unknowingly–to meet the One who is the only source of certain hope in this turbulent time.
We all want to walk with you, cooperating with our tangible presence to the Church’s mission: to speak to everyone and to anyone, so that no one is excluded from Christ’s embrace, the Life of life.
As we pray for you, invoking the intercession of Fr. Giussani, during this moment of transition in our history, I ask you to entreat Our Lady that we may ever more consciously take on personal responsibility for the charism we have received, according to what the Church asks of us today.
